Job summary

A healthcare service provider located in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking an Advanced Practice Dietitian to lead a team in providing nutrition assessment and intervention in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree, be a Registered Dietitian, and have at least one year of relevant experience. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provides nutrition assessment and intervention.
  • Complies with all regulatory standards.
  • Participates in quality assurance programs.
  • Participates in QA/PI programs.
  • Sets weekly treatment goals and coordinates with the treatment team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, self-management training and nutrition intervention
  • Complies with all regulatory standards, including federal, state and accrediting agencies
  • Adheres to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies where applicable
  • Participates in facility-wide and departmental Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement Programs
  • Identifies weekly treatment goals and communicates individual client needs to treatment team
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and Registered Dietitian in accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, required
  • Advanced Practitioner Certification and other advance practice, preferred
  • Minimum of two to three years of professional experience as a Registered Dietitian
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable required
  • Experience with computers and programs including Microsoft Office Suite required
