Job summary

Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Dietitian to join our Nutritional Services team. The position involves providing nutritional care across acute inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, and skilled nursing settings.

You will travel between Aspire locations using your own vehicle, conducting assessments, delivering DSME, and educating patients and staff. A Bachelor's in Nutrition and a Registered Dietitian credential are required, with experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field is required.
• Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required.
• At least two years of experience as a Registered Dietitian preferred.
• Familiarity with Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nutritional care across settings including acute inpatient care, outpatient care, long-term care, and skilled nursing facilities.
• Provides services at all Aspire Rural Health System locations and travels between facilities using the employee’s own vehicle.
• Screens and assesses patients and provides nutritional recommendations and interventions based on standards and regulations.
• Provides nutrition education to patients, staff, and community members.
