Morrison Healthcare at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY is hiring a Clinical Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting. You will work with a collaborative team to optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or eligible via CDR, with strong clinical training and a passion for education.

Formación

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or eligible via CDR exam
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice as applicable
• Healthcare experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training encouraged to apply

• Clinical Nutrition Care: perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Education: provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable wellness for patients, families, staff, and community
• Evidence-Based Practice: apply latest research in line with diet manual, policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality care
• Quality & Performance Improvement: contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: partner with food service management to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Mentorship & Professional Development: support growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training

Location: Morrison Healthcare at Westchester Medical Hospital

Setting: 650-bed tertiary care Level I trauma center that includes a children's hospital, behavioral health center and outpatient clinics.

Schedule: Full time: Monday-Friday (may be included in weekend/holiday rotation (ie. every 6th weekend))

Requirement: Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, ability to speak Spanish a plus

Salary: $75,000-$85,000 - based on experience

Job Summary

What We’re Looking For
