The role requires a degree in nutrition or Dietetics from ACEND-accredited program, completion of internship, RDN credential, and Texas licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an ACEND-accredited program.
• Completion of an ACEND-accredited Dietetic Internship or equivalent supervised practice.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Texas State Licensure (LD) or eligibility to obtain before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based nutrition assessment, counseling, and medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to patients across inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient health outcomes, support recovery, and ensure compliance with state and hospital regulations.

• This role collaborates with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient health outcomes, support recovery, and ensure compliance with federal, state (including Texas Department of State Health Services standards), and hospital regulations.
