We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietician to join our part-time team at our long-term care facility in Etowah, TN. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality nutrition and meal planning services.
As a Dietician with Etowah Health and Rehabilitation, you will:
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents' nutritional needs and develop personalized meal plans to meet their needs
Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure that residents receive the best possible care
Implement and maintain a comprehensive nutrition care plan, including food ordering and inventory management
Educate residents, families, and healthcare staff on nutrition-related topics and provide guidance on meal planning and food preparation
Conduct regular audits and quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
Conduct resident assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans
Order and manage food inventory, including placement of orders and reconciliation of invoices
Coordinate with food service staff to ensure meal delivery and service
Monitor and report on resident food intake and nutrition-related issues
Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident nutrition care plans and assessments
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and strive for excellence in customer satisfaction and quality of care
Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field
