Job summary

Sodexo at Deaconess Midtown Hospital is seeking a Dietetic Clerk to support nutrition services and help ensure accurate patient meals. You will assist with menu planning and coordinating meal service to promote healthy eating and excellent patient care.

The role is on-call, part-time with open availability. Candidates should be team-oriented, reliable, and have at least 1 year of food service experience in a hospital or extended care setting.

• Team-oriented, adaptable and reliable.
• Nurturers of a healthy and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient/resident menus to ensure accuracy of diet orders and timely meal service.
• Produce meal tickets, nourishment labels and production tallies for menus.
• Respond to telephone inquiries and maintain nutrition office supplies.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned depending on client requirements.

What You'll Do:

As a Dietetic Clerk at Sodexo, you are driven to make an impact in people’s lives with good nutritional health. Your passion will raise awareness on healthy living and improve lives.

Responsibilities include:

• Organize the patient/resident's menus to ensure accuracy of diet order, timeliness of meal service and smooth food service operations.


• Insure the production of meal tickets, nourishment labels and production tallies for resident/patient menus.


• Respond to telephone inquiries, maintains all office equipment and supply inventory for nutrition office.


• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity


• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
