Responsibilities

• 1. Coordinates patient's meal plans with healthcare professionals and nutritionists.
• 2. Takes patient meal orders via phone and at the bedside.
• 3. Assists with meal selections while taking into consideration cultural and/or religious preferences.
• 4. Monitors patient meal tickets- this includes reviewing and modifying as needed to comply with prescribed diet order.
• 5. Processes new diets, changes, tube feedings and NPO orders efficiently while keeping accurate records.
• 6. Performs other related duties as assigned.
