Job summary

MelroseWakefield Hospital (Tufts Medicine) seeks a per diem Dietary & Food Services staff member to support meal preparation, tray delivery, and diet order accuracy across hospital locations. The role involves assisting with menu selections, preparing meals for various diets, and upholding sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Food service experience required.
• ServSafe certification within 6 months of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and communicate accurate diet order information to ensure appropriate meals for patients.
• Assist patients with menu selections and modify diets as assigned.
• Deliver and collect patient trays with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation; support daily operations.
• Oversee staff as needed and assist with training and supervision.
