Job summary

Wedgewood Garden Care Center in Freehold, NJ is hiring a Dietary Aide to support residents with meals and dining services. You will assist in preparing and serving meals, keep dining areas clean, and follow safety and infection control guidelines.

Candidates with prior dietary or kitchen experience and strong teamwork skills are encouraged to apply. A genuine passion for serving seniors and providing quality dining experiences is essential; ability to stand long periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, or kitchen experience preferred.
• Experience in a senior living or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Genuine passion for serving seniors and creating a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to residents’ dietary needs and preferences
• Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and welcoming
• Assist with food preparation, dishwashing, and kitchen sanitation
• Follow food safety and infection control guidelines
• Support residents during mealtimes and provide excellent customer service
• Work closely with the dietary team to ensure quality meal service
