Job summary

Aspire Senior Living Joplin is seeking a compassionate Dietary Manager to lead the dietary department in our Joplin, MO community. The role focuses on planning meals, ensuring nutrition programs, and maintaining compliance with regulations while directing cooks, servers, and staff.

You’ll partner with other teams to deliver high-quality resident meals in a warm, resident-focused environment. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Dietetics or Nutrition, healthcare food service management

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare food service management.
• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
• Current Food Handler's Certification.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the dietary department, including planning, organizing, and directing food service operations
• Develop and implement menus, meal plans, and nutrition programs to meet the needs of our residents
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Supervise and train dietary staff, including cooks, servers, and wait staff
• Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of food, supplies, and equipment
• Foster a positive and respectful work environment, promoting teamwork and communication among staff
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional resident care
