Job summary

Twilight Gardens in Norwalk, Ohio is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Cook to join our dietary team and prepare quality meals for residents.

As a Dietary Cook, you will follow menus and dietary guidelines, maintain food safety standards, and collaborate with the Dietary Manager to provide friendly, respectful service in a home-like setting. This role offers a supportive team and meaningful work.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred.
• Healthcare, senior living, or long-term care experience a plus.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for residents according to menus and recipes.
• Follow resident dietary needs, portion guidelines, and special diet requirements.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served accurately and on time.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen.
• Properly store, label, and rotate food and supplies.
• Assist with meal service and kitchen cleanup.
• Work closely with the Dietary Manager and dietary team.
• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents.
