Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and meals per planned menus and portion control.
• Maintain clean and safe department and storage areas; ensure equipment and supplies are maintained and organized.
• Review and process diet changes from nursing services and coordinate dietary services with other departments.
• Review menus before food prep; inspect trays for accuracy of menu and diet preferences.
• Assist in inventorying and storing incoming foods, supplies, and equipment.
