Saber Healthcare Group in Danville, VA is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare meals for residents in a skilled nursing setting, ensuring diets and safety standards are met under the supervision of the Food Service Director.

This PRN opportunity offers weekend and some weekday shifts with pay ranging $13.50–$14.50 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits after 30 days, Daily Pay option, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation fundamentals.
• Must meet state food handler training requirements.
• Previous cook experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with resident diets and sighted procedures.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies.
• Operate under the supervision of the Food Service Director and adhere to dietary policies.
