Americare Senior Living seeks a dependable Dietary Cook to prepare nutritious, home-style meals for residents at Maple Tree Terrace in Carthage, MO. You’ll follow dietician-approved menus, maintain safety and cleanliness, and collaborate with dietary and care teams to create a warm, resident-focused dining experience.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with experience in quantity food production, especially in healthcare or senior living, and a passion for service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in quantity food production preferred, especially in healthcare or senior living.
• Ability to follow menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable, organized, and service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for residents, visitors, and staff in a timely manner.
• Follow dietician-approved menus while accommodating dietary needs.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
• Safely operate kitchen appliances and equipment.
• Collaborate with dietary and care teams.
• Ensure resident confidentiality and comply with HIPAA where applicable.
