Job summary

CareCore at Westmoreland in Ohio is seeking a dependable Dietary Cook / Dietary Aide to join our resident-focused team full-time. In this role you will perform morning cook duties and afternoon dietary aide/server tasks, providing variety and meaningful service to residents.

You will cook to menus and dietary guidelines, ensure food safety, assist with meal service, and maintain a clean dining environment while delivering friendly, courteous care throughout meals.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or dietary experience preferred.
• Long-term care or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and resident-focused.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Morning Cook Duties: Prepare and cook meals according to menus and dietary guidelines; ensure food quality, safety, and proper portion control; maintain a clean and organized kitchen; follow sanitation regulations.
• Afternoon Dietary Aide/Server Duties: Assist with meal service to residents; deliver trays and ensure correct meals; provide friendly service; assist with dishwashing and dining room setup; maintain a clean dining environment.
