Job summary

Monroe Health & Rehab Center is seeking dietary team members to prepare meals for residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will work under the Food Service Director to ensure meals meet prescribed diet specifications and safety standards. The role offers flexible pay options, including On-Demand Pay and Weekly Pay, plus a family-like atmosphere and generous PTO and benefits.

Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities are available with daytime shifts. Wage is $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a working knowledge of fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state requirements for food handler training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety regulations.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice.
• Assist in maintaining diet-related documentation and adhering to facility procedures.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director.Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:
