Are you a Dietary Cook seeking an exciting new career opportunity? This role involves preparing and serving meals according to the menu, monitoring methods of food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning. You will provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents to maintain and enhance their overall health, and ensure quality food service and nutrition care in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to the menu
• Monitor methods of food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning
• Safely and efficiently provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards

Qualifications

• A passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, required
• Prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
• One year of experience as a cook in a large-scale operation highly preferred
• Professional image in appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
