Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior dietary experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC preferred.
• One year of cooking experience in a large-scale operation preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Prepare and serve meals according to the menu, monitor food handling and preparation methods and equipment cleaning.
• Provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents to support health.
• Ensure quality food service and nutrition care in compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Dietary Cook, you are responsible for preparing and serving meals according to the menu, monitoring methods of food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning. You will also safely and efficiently provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing their overall health. As a Dietary Cook, you will ensure the provision of quality food service and nutrition care in accordance to Federal, State and Local regulations.

Do You Have What It Takes?
