Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a dedicated dietary team member to prepare meals according to resident diet specifications and safety standards under the supervision of the Food Service Director. You will follow all health and sanitation guidelines and contribute to a safe, welcoming dining environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; guidance to earn GED may be provided.
• Fundamental knowledge of food safety and sanitation is required.
• Must meet state food handler training requirements and stay current.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals per resident diet specifications and community procedures.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain standards set by administration and Dietary Policies.
• Assist under supervision of the Food Service Director to ensure safe, nutritious meals.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director.Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.
  • We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.
• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available
• Shifts Needed: Day and Evening Swaps
• Wage: Starting at $17.00 per hour
