Job description
Duties included:
Responsible for ordering, stocking, preparation, serving, presentation, and documentation of the food according to established policies and procedures.
Serve special diets when applicable as ordered by the physician and approved by the dietician. Ensure meals delivered by the consulting food service agency are properly placed in the warming carts and food temperatures are within regulatory guidelines.
Monitor the temperature of the refrigerators, warming cart and other equipment used in the dining room.
Assist patients with beverages, and food choices when applicable.
Works cooperatively with other members of the multidisciplinary team and contributes to a positive work environment.
Participates in rotation of evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Performs related duties as required.
Attend all-staff meetings and trainings as requested by supervisor.
Attend daily shift report when reporting for duty.
Attend all training as required by supervisor.
Attend and actively participate daily in multidisciplinary staffing.
Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
Serve on projects as delegated.
