Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in North Texas is seeking a Dietary Clerk to join a fast-paced, hospital food service team. You will coordinate between nursing units, dietitians and Food & Nutrition Services to ensure patients receive meals that align with diet prescriptions.

The role emphasizes clear communication, teamwork and initiative to improve patient experience; high school diploma required; 6 months restaurant or institutional experience preferred; PRN shifts with variable hours.

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Dietary Clerk is responsible for communications between the nursing units, dietitians and Food & Nutrition Services regarding patient menus, diet changes and general patient services. Ensures that patient receive appropriate selections per diet prescription.
