Responsibilities

1. Under the supervision of the dietitian, provide clinical support by ensuring accurate therapeutic menu selections and proper tray temperatures for patients.
2. Assist patients with menu selections.
3. Prepare late trays, ensuring correct diet, presentation, and timely delivery.
4. Schedule nourishments according to meal patterns.
5. Update patient diet information in the system.
6. Verify menu accuracy using a computer system.
7. Monitor food temperatures before trayline and address any issues.
8. Manage clerical duties such as meal statistics and meal recording.
9. Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Associate's degree in Food Science or Nutrition preferred.
• One (1) year of healthcare experience working with modified diets preferred.
• County-specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current.
