Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Dietary Aide to support the dietary team in a healthcare setting. You will assist the cook, follow menus, and ensure sanitary and pleasant dietary conditions for residents and others served by the Dietary Department.

The role involves light food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be 18+, and able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years of age.
• Ability to read diet cards and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Demonstrate neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
• Ability to read diet cards, speak English, and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the cook on duty with non-cooking duties and ensure sanitary, safe dietary conditions.
• Follow planned menu and prepare food and beverages per tested recipes.
• Provide food service to residents and assist in serving beverages and tray cart.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes and silverware.
• Clean, sanitize, sweep, and mop work areas.
• Assist with duties of the Cook and Assistant Cook in meal preparation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
