Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Dietary Aide to support residents with meals and dining room service. This entry-level position offers on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement within a large, nonprofit senior living network.

You will assist in meal preparation and service under the Nutrition Services Manager, with some light cooking and prep tasks. A strong hospitality mindset and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Entry level position with on-the-job training
• Minors (under the age of 18) must obtain a valid work permit, if required by the State in which they are being employed

Responsibilities

• Foster an environment of hospitality for residents under the direction of the Nutrition Services Manager.
• Prepare and serve meals and assist with the setup and cleanup of the dining room.
• Performs some short order cooking and a variety of prep tasks in the kitchen.
