Job summary

Lake Merritt Healthcare Center is seeking On-call Dietary Aides for day shifts in Oakland, California. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service to residents, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining the dining area. Responsibilities

• Provides quality Customer Service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in a manner to ensure satisfaction.
• Pre-assembles resident trays and carts as directed.
• Assists with food preparation and waits on residents at table in skilled dining.
• Prepares and pours beverages and assorted snacks.
• Prepares and delivers between meal nourishment and snacks to the nursing station.
• Cleans and maintains dining area, including tables and furnishings after meals.
• Ensures dining room is clean and transports dishes, trash etc. to appropriate area.
• Restocks all areas.
• Attends all mandatory in-service meetings.

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in California is $18.00 to $20.00 hourly. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.
