Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting residents as they enter the dining room and assisting them in finding their assigned seating.
• Assisting with selection of foods, pouring coffee and other drinks, and clearing/cleaning tables.
• Providing a high level of social interaction with residents.
• Assisting with cold food preparation under the direction of the chef when required.
• Setting tables in dining rooms with correct place settings.
• Providing appropriate beverages in dining rooms with correct place settings.
• Serving all food and desserts for the dining room according to resident’s requests and specific food orders.
• Clearing and cleaning tables and chairs after meals.

Other Tasks

• Set tables in dining rooms with correct place settings.
• Place appropriate beverages in dining rooms with correct place settings.
• Place appropriate beverages and items pertinent to each meal on dining room tables.
• Serve all food and desserts for the dining room according to resident’s requests with regard to specific food orders.
• Clear and clean tables and chairs after meals.

Working Hours

• Saturday and Sunday shifts are an additional $0.60 per hour.
• Full‑time available: 6am to 2:30pm or variable shifts plus every other weekend.
