Job summary

Arcadia Care in Dayton is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to assist with daily food service in our Dayton facility. You will review menus, help prepare and serve meals, and ensure meals meet planned diets and sanitary standards.

You’ll work as part of a compassionate team, support residents with patience and cheerful manners, and help maintain clean, safe dining areas while following established policies.

Qualifications

• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level, they are currently functioning.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes & special diet orders. Also ensure food, etc., is prepared in accordance with sanitary regulations.
• Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
• Prepare & deliver snacks, etc., as instructed.
