Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with all food functions as directed and in line with established policies. The role supports meal preparation, service, sanitation, and safe handling of foods for residents.

You will follow planned menus, standard recipes, and special diet orders, maintain a clean, safe kitchen area, and assist with snacks and deliveries as needed while demonstrating patience, cheerfulness, and teamwork in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level, they are currently functioning.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes & special diet orders. Also ensure food, etc., is prepared in accordance with sanitary regulations.
• Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
• Prepare & deliver snacks, etc., as instructed.
