Job summary

Evergreen Post Acute in Smyrna, DE is seeking a PRN Dietary Aide to support daily meal service and tray line operations.

You will store and label foods, assist with preparation, maintain sanitary conditions, and perform light housekeeping while following Dietary Management Systems.

This on-site role offers flexible scheduling to meet facility needs and provides an essential contribution to resident well-being. Prior experience is not required; reliability and teamwork are valued.

Responsibilities

• Assists on tray line and food preparation as necessary.
• Stores food and supplies with proper labels for current and future use.
• Cleans and maintains assigned equipment and work areas, including walls and ceilings, ensuring sanitary conditions.
• Performs routine housekeeping tasks such as dishwashing, garbage disposal and sweeping or mopping.
• Follows procedures outlined in Dietary Management Systems pertaining to the handling of all foods.
• Performs all tasks and duties in an essential and safe way.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary.
• Remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and facility needs.
