Job summary

FutureCare in Good Samaritan Village, Nebraska, is seeking a Dietary Aide/Porter to join the Food & Hospitality team. You will assist with hot and cold foods, deliver meals to residents, and help maintain clean dining areas.

Under the direction of the Clinical Food Service Director, you will follow sanitation standards, handle food safely, and support safe-serve policies while delivering courteous care to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare environment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be courteous and friendly at all times.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours or longer.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods.
• Serve and deliver food to residents as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas as assigned.
• Properly store food utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
• Transport/deliver food/beverage items to assigned residents.
• Assist Lead Porter or other staff in lifting or transporting large utilities within the kitchen area.
• Load/operate dishwasher machine.
• Ensure proper temperature, chemical supplies, and clean water levels are maintained for proper sanitation.

• Competitive Pay $15.70 - 17.50/hr***
