Job summary

Mount Auburn Hospital is seeking a Dietary Aide to support patient meal service and tray line operations. You will pass menus, portion meals, stock stations and deliver meals to patients, contributing to a clean, organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include loading trays, preparing between-meal nourishments, rotating stock, and ensuring adherence to nutrition and safety standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

• Ability to read English and comprehend and follow verbal and some written instructions.
• Ability to read and write at level three as documented on Invest, the hospital's Employee Learning Laboratory software.

• Works under direction of lead diet aide and food services supervisor.

Pay Range: $17.00 - $22.88 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
