Absolut Care of Gasport is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. You will assist in preparing and serving patient meals, while maintaining a safe dining environment and documenting dietary needs. Shifts available 6am-230pm and/or 12pm-8pm.

Qualifications

• 0 years of experience in food service or healthcare.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and move equipment and supplies as needed.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and service of patient meals, including setting tables, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment
• Monitor and report any food allergies, special dietary needs, or medication interactions to the Dietary Manager
• Maintain accurate records of patient food preferences, allergies, and special dietary needs
• Assist with food storage, inventory management, and ordering supplies as needed
• Collaborate with the Dietary Team to ensure efficient and effective meal service
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager
