Job summary

Cypress Care Center in Wildwood, FL is seeking Dietary Aides for full-time and part-time roles. The facility offers competitive pay and a supportive work environment with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and STD insurances, and a 401K plan.

Responsibilities include delivering meals to patients, coordinating with nutrition staff, keeping dining areas clean, managing supplies, and assisting with menu planning. HS diploma required; SNF experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least one year Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Take meal trays up to patients’ rooms and ensure that they have everything they need.
• Work collaboratively with nutritionist to conduct/obtain required nutritional measures for patients.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage
• Tray Line
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances
