Job summary

Quantum Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Part-time Food Service Dietary Aide to join the team. This is a Union position with Benefits and pays $19.50 per hour.

The role involves assisting in all dietary functions, preparing portions, and delivering nourishment to units in a safe, sanitary manner. You will set up trays according to therapeutic diets and help maintain a clean, organized dietary department.

Qualifications

• Provides quality food service following facility policies.
• Prepares portions and serves meals according to therapeutic diets and procedures.
• Maintains sanitation and safety in all food handling activities.

Responsibilities

• Aids in all dietary functions as instructed.
• Prepares and serves food, beverages, and desserts for meals.
• Delivers nourishment to units in a timely, sanitary manner.
• Sets up trays and tables according to prescribed diets and meal tickets.
• Stores and stocks food items and supplies per procedure.
• Cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils, and equipment after use.
• Operates carts and equipment safely and in good order.
• Keeps the work area neat, clean and sanitary at all times.
• Attends in-service programs and communicates concerns to supervisor.
