Job summary

New Communities Inc. in Biddeford, ME, is hiring a part-time Dietary Aide for our Assisted Living community, Biddeford Estates. You will support the dining team to ensure each resident receives the right meals and maintain clean kitchen and service areas.

This role offers paid training, same-day pay, health, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, a 403(b) with 5% match, wellness benefits, and a birthday bonus. Availability is 10:30am–6:00pm with every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• One year of experience in a food service setting and experience working with the elderly/disabled population is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers whose primary language is English

Responsibilities

• Assist dining team to ensure each resident receives the appropriate meal.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and food service areas.
• Understand residents’ individual service plans as they relate to dining needs.
• Support seniors to live life fully through the dining program.
