Job summary

Reflections Retirement Community in Urbana, IL is seeking a compassionate part-time dining aide for the 2nd shift to serve meals and beverages to residents, respecting dietary needs and preferences and creating a welcoming dining experience.

The role involves maintaining a clean dining area, assisting in food service, and upholding safety and sanitation standards while engaging with residents in a caring, dignified manner.

Qualifications

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Completion of ServSafe Food Handler Certification within 90 days of start.
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Serve high-quality meals, snacks and beverages according to dietary preferences and restrictions.
• Set up dining areas and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for resident meals and social gatherings.
• Assist in maintaining sanitary kitchen conditions and comply with safety standards.
• Engage with residents in a compassionate, supportive manner reflecting Love, Compassion and Dignity.

Responsibilities

• Serves high-quality, nourishing meals, snacks, and beverages to our residents in consideration of dietary preferences and restrictions
• Prepares dining areas, providing a clean and welcoming environment for resident social gathering and meals
• Assists in maintaining a sanitary and organized kitchen while ensuring compliance to safety and sanitation protocols
• Engages with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction
