Job summary

Legacy at Jacksonville is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Aide to support nutrition and resident care. You will assist with meal service, help maintain cleanliness, and ensure food safety and resident satisfaction.

In this role you will follow standardized recipes, prep meals safely, deliver and rotate supplies, and work collaboratively with the dietary team to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Attention to schedule adherence and teamwork is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Meal Service: Assemble trays and deliver meal carts to nursing or dining areas.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Dispose of refuse and keep areas tidy according to policy.
• Manage Supplies: Deliver and rotate food and floor supplies (FIFO).
• Prepare Foods: Follow recipes to prepare meals safely and efficiently.
• Serve Meals: Portion and serve meals as directed by recipes and spreadsheets.
• Sanitize Equipment: Wash and store dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.

• Assist with Meal Service : Assemble trays and deliver meal carts to nursing or dining areas
• Maintain Cleanliness : Dispose of refuse in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
• Manage Supplies : Deliver and rotate food and floor supplies according to standards (first in, first out)
• Prepare Foods : Follow menu and standardized recipes to prepare meals safely and efficiently
• Serve Meals : Portion and serve meals as directed by recipes and spreadsheet instructions
• Sanitize Equipment : Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment properly
