Position: Dietary Aide (PM-PT shift)

As a Dietary Aide at Friendly Village Nursing and Rehab, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents receive nutritious, delicious meals and snacks served with care. You will be responsible for tasks in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring food is prepared, served, and cleaned up following health standards and procedures.

Essential Functions

1. Food Presentation: Serve meals attractively, considering dietary needs and preferences.
2. Timely Meal Delivery: Follow schedules to deliver meals promptly to ensure residents receive meals on time.
3. Food Preparation: Prepare and pre-portion food according to menus and diet orders.
4. Food Temperature Maintenance: Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures, recording as required.
5. Accurate Meal Service: Serve meals and snacks accurately, following planned menus and diet restrictions.
6. Portion Control: Use appropriate utensils to ensure consistent serving sizes.
7. Dishwashing and Sanitization: Wash dishes and utensils per procedures, record water temperatures and sanitizer levels, report issues promptly.
8. Cleanliness and Organization: Keep work areas clean, organized, and hygienic.
9. Flexibility and Assistance: Assist in various tasks within the dietary department as needed.
