Job summary

Gardant in Lancaster, OH is seeking a caring part-time dining associate to serve high-quality meals, assist with meal prep and service, prepare dining areas, and maintain a clean, welcoming kitchen environment for residents.

You will follow ServSafe food handling requirements and ensure safety and sanitation standards, while engaging with residents in a compassionate manner that reflects the organization values of love, dignity, and respect.

Qualifications

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must complete ServSafe Food Handler Certification within 90 days of start.
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Serves high-quality, nourishing meals, snacks, and beverages to our residents in consideration of dietary preferences and restrictions
• Prepares dining areas, providing a clean and welcoming environment for resident social gathering and meals
• Assists in maintaining a sanitary and organized kitchen while ensuring compliance to safety and sanitation protocols
• Engages with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction
