Grace Brethren Village in Englewood, Ohio is seeking a Dietary Assistant responsible for assisting in all dietary functions. You will help prepare, serve, and deliver meals, ensure compliance with dietary policies, and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma (or GED), possess basic math skills, and be able to follow instructions accurately. The role involves physical demands like lifting and frequent standing, providing essential support to the kitchen staff.
To provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.
Other duties may be assigned.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to read and write. Must be able to follow both oral and written instruction. Additionally, needs to be able to deal professionally with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
Use simple math operations in daily food preparation tasks.
Ability to identify and resolve routine problems in a timely and appropriate manner. Display sound judgment when handling food safety and sanitation concerns.
