Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food preparation, serve meals according to dietary needs, and maintain clean and safe kitchen and dining areas.

The role emphasizes quality customer service, adherence to safety guidelines, and positive interactions with residents and staff. Prior food service experience is helpful, and a ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks and work around food and cleaning products.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on state/county law.

• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.
• Residency within the service area required

Additional Pay Information

Offered hourly rates for this position are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs, aspects, operational considerations, and requirements of the facility serviced.
