NeighborHealth in Boston is seeking a Dietary Aide to provide nutritional assistance under the supervision of the Registered Dietitian. You will set up, prepare, serve, and feed meals to participants at the PACE Center, ensuring compliance with policy and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include plating meals, checking temperatures, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, managing inventory, and coordinating with the dietitian on food orders.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide or Health Aide Certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience with a frail or elderly population.
• Excellent customer service and communication; bilingual a plus.
• Flexibility, initiative, creativity and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn and efficiently utilize job-related software and computer systems.

Responsabilités

• Prepares meal plates and snacks for distribution to participants in the PACE Center.
• Checks and records temperature of food before serving.
• Checks and records refrigerator and freezer temperatures at beginning and end of shift.
• Maintains cleanliness and order in kitchen and food supply areas; completes weekly cleaning log.
• Maintains inventory of food and supplies; orders and stocks as approved.
• Monitors expiration dates and proper labeling per policy.
