Job summary

Goldwater Care in Gibson City, IL is seeking a Food and Nutrition Services Aide to assist with meal preparation and serving according to planned menus and dietary orders. Qualifications

• One (1) year dietary experience in a healthcare facility or other institution is preferred but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes & special diet orders. Prepare & serve residents' nutritional bedtime snacks and substitute foods as needed.
• Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures ensuring utensils are available for next meal.
• Prepare & deliver snacks, deliver food carts and trays to designated areas and serve food and drinks; sweep and mop floors in kitchen/dish room as instructed.
