Wyomissing Health and Rehabilitation Center in Reading, PA, is seeking enthusiastic Dietary Aides to join our dietary team. You will help ensure residents' and patients' nutritional needs are met with care and attention to detail.

The role emphasizes food preparation and presentation, safe handling, teamwork, and excellent communication in a fast-paced environment. No experience required beyond basic food prep knowledge; must be 18+ and able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
• Ability to lift, bend, and move objects up to 25 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining areas.
• Set up and serve meals in a timely and efficient manner.
• Interact with residents and patients in a respectful and friendly manner.
• Participate in quality control measures to ensure food safety and sanitation.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to achieve optimal meal presentation and quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
