Job summary

ISH Dining Services is seeking a Dietary Aide in Christiana, PA to prepare and serve meals, beverages, and snacks that meet residents' dietary needs. You will follow menus and therapeutic diet orders while delivering friendly, attentive service.

No prior experience is required; a High School diploma or equivalent is required, and you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Strong communication and customer service skills are valued in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining and tray service according to menus and follow therapeutic diet orders.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and provide general descriptions to guests/residents
• Serve meals, beverages, and requested items according to established dietary and skilled nursing guidelines
• Respond to dining needs of guests/residents while maintaining hospitality and service standards
• Prepare and deliver snacks and nourishments as directed
• Obtain food and supplies for meal service as directed
• Maintain accurate records of resident's dietary needs
• Follow all local, state/provincial, and federal policies regarding food handling
• Maintain standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
