Job summary

Aberjona Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Winchester, MA is seeking a caring Dietary Aide to assist with meal service, food preparation, and dining room upkeep for residents. You will help maintain a clean, hygienic environment and support nutritional needs in a compassionate team setting.

Responsibilities include meal setup, serving, tray preparation, tray clearance, kitchen cleanup, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring physical effort (standing, walking, sitting as needed).
• Adhere to departmental safety policies and procedures.
• Lift up to 35 lbs. or more with assistance as required.
• Computer skills are a plus for scheduling and documentation.
• Flexible availability including weekends is required.
• Weekend work ability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and pour beverages.
• Clear trays and reset dining rooms after meals.

Job Summary

We are seeking a caring and dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team at Aberjona Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents by assisting with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and hygienic dining environment.

• Preparatory work for meals including setup of dining rooms

• Setup of food trays with condiments, napkins, juices, milk, etc.

• Serve meals to residents, pouring beverages, etc.

• Clear trays and dishes; resets dining rooms

• Assist with cleaning kitchen and storage area

• Dispose of trash

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English

• Ability to perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements, like sitting, standing, and walking

• Ability to comply with departmental safety policies and procedures

• Ability to lift, up to 35 lbs.

• Computer skills a plus
