Job summary

Jurupa Hills Post-Acute is hiring a Dietary Aide to support our kitchen and dining operations. Pay ranges from $17.48 to $18.00 per hour, DOE, on a full-time PM shift. You will maintain a clean kitchen, assist with meals, and ensure safe food handling for residents.

Qualifications

• Prior dietary aide or kitchen experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dish room
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
• Monitor dishwashing temperatures and chlorine levels
• Assist with breakfast tray setup and juice preparation for medication passes
• Support meal service and tray line setup
• Prepare snacks, butter bread, and pour beverages
• Sweep, mop, and remove trash from kitchen areas
• Properly store groceries and maintain clean food storage areas
• Report any resident care or safety concerns to leadership
