Job summary

Apploi is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team in a full-time capacity on the 1st shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm). The role focuses on meal service, food preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe dining environment for residents in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or dining operations is preferred.
• Ability to provide courteous, patient-centered service to residents.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of meals and beverages.
• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate the dishwashing machine safely and efficiently.
• Inspect cleanliness of dishes and utensils and store items properly.
• Deliver meals and support a positive dining experience for residents.
• Label and store food items per department guidelines.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures to maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Report equipment issues and supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and staff.
• Participate in training and team meetings for quality care.
