Job summary

Icare-Health-Network in Hartford, CT is seeking a Dietary Assistant to support food preparation, tray assembly, and nourishment services for residents.

Responsibilities include helping with hot and cold foods, maintaining meal schedules, and keeping preparation areas clean within a healthcare environment. Prior healthcare experience is a plus, and English language proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow time schedules for meal preparation and serving.
• Must be able to speak, read and write the English language clearly and understandably.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Some previous experience preferred in Healthcare industry

Responsibilities

• Helps prepares hot and cold foods and beverages. Maintains and follows all meal schedules.
• Prepares trays with proper and accurate food items, as well as transports meals Prepares snacks and nourishments for residents
• Cleans food preparation areas as well as dishes, utensils, glasses, cups etc.
