Brookmont Health & Rehab in Effort, PA is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation, service, and keeping the dining area clean. This role supports residents by ensuring meals meet dietary needs and provide a pleasant dining experience.

You will work with dietary, nursing, and therapy staff, follow safety and infection control procedures, and help with setup, service, and cleanup. High school diploma preferred; prior food service or healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service or healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be dependable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals according to diet orders and portion guidelines
• Deliver meal trays to residents and assist residents during dining when needed
• Set up and break down dining areas before and after meal service
• Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Label and store food properly following food safety standards
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with dietary, nursing, and therapy staff to support resident needs
• Provide friendly and respectful customer service to residents, families, and staff
